In the evening we went to a fire festival in Kurama. A small mountain village north of Kyoto

First the children goes around with large torches. 

The proud parents helps as little as they can

 The last couple of days we live in Yokohama. That I can't recommend but visit the town the japanese are crazy with it's Chinatown But for me first time in asia theres no big difference :-)

A daytrip to Kamakura wich is famous for it's Buddhastatue Daibutsu, the beaches and the Tokyocrowds in summertime. Ups i forgot the temples as well :-)
